The rare crest-tooth cabbage was found, collected, herbarised and determined in the Gesäuse National Park over calcareous rocks on moderately fresh, shallow, carbonate-containing, nutrient-poor rendzines in the subalpine stage at the sulzkar dog. With this remarkable plant discovery, which is documented in this report, the national park area proves to be a habitat for rare vascular plants.
