The advertising medium means the medium, i.e. the carrier (area), on which advertising can be placed. This is about so-called third-party advertising, i.e. advertising that is not bound to the location of the service. This means that companies can rent such advertising media for their commercial advertising regardless of location.
Typical carriers of third-party advertising, which are very often found in the cityscape and on public good:
* Rolling boards
* Billboards
* City lights in waiting halls or phone booths
* City Lights free standing
* Light columns
* Liquor columns (cultural advertising)
* Mini poster (half bowls) on light poles (cultural advertising)
* Flat signs on light poles
In comparison to third-party advertising, self-promotion, with rare exceptions, is only allowed on private grounds (not in public property). This is the case, for example, when an economic or cultural company (e.g. theatre, museum, car mechanic, etc.) draws attention to itself on site.
