Life goals are the protection of species and biotopes. For the survival of amphibian populations, however, extensively contiguous areas are important to a network of terrestrial and aquatic habitats with few barriers to spread. On the alpine pastures examined in the national park, the traditional grazing ensures that land is kept open and thus creates habitat for many animal species.
