Dataset description

For more widespread, endemic and sub-endemic species, the responsibility for protection in the areas concerned is particularly high. In the Gesäuse National Park, endemic forms of selected spider and insect groups are collected and the current knowledge is presented. In addition, the data is included in the current UBA study treasures in Austria’s fauna and flora with the aim of identifying the national park as a national endmit hot spot (aggregated point distribution maps for all endmits and sub-endemites of Austria).
