Dataset description

CN (Combined Nomenclature) Description: The CN is the European version of the Harmonised System (HS). It consists of 8-digit numerically encoded positions. The very many breakdowns are adapted to specific EU customs and external trade statistics needs. The CN is revised annually. The versions of the CN are always tied to the respective year (e.g. KN 2008 applies to the year 2008). Relationship with other classifications: ISIC, NACE, ÖNACE, CPC, HS, SITC, CPA, ÖCPA, PRODCOM, ÖPRODCOM
