Dataset description

The investigated area in the Gesäuse National Park is part of the Natura 2000 area of Ennstal Alps/Gesäuse, where the otter is explicitly mentioned as a protected property. This project continued monitoring at Johnsbach and Enns. Bridges and riverbank sections were examined for slogans and footmarks. The otter was also detected throughout the entire investigation area in 2014.
