Dataset description

Flooded areas by overflowing rivers in floods. The areas are located in the areas of the supervision area of the Federal Water Engineering Administration in Vorarlberg. The HQ100 dataset contains those areas that can be flooded during a 100-year flood event. Flooding areas in the care area of wild stream and avalanche construction are not part of the data sets. Important fields and data types of the attribute table (those containing content information): Project (String) = Origin of flood areas — Project name Municipality (String) = Municipality(s) in which the flooding areas are located according to drain study Data source: hq100_total.shp Data up-to-date: The flooding areas from completed discharge tests (ABU’s) are continuously inserted into the data sets.
