Forest and wildlife protection zones, prescribed wild rest areas Tyrol

Forest and wildlife protected areas are areas in mountain areas that aim to voluntarily refrain from entering or accessing these areas by winter sports enthusiasts and recreational users in winter. Wild rest areas are areas designated by the authority in accordance with §45 of the Tyrolean Hunting Act by ordinance on the protection of game in the vicinity of game feedings. These areas may not be entered or travelled outside the roads and trails intended for general use, including the local hiking trails and outside of local usual ski routes, designated ski runs and cross-country skiing trails in winter.
