Dataset description

Following the genotyping of the solutions found at the Gscheidegg in 2008 and the 2010 study, only new caper chicken individuals were found. In the present study (2011), therefore, the re-finding of known genotypes and new individuals, the overall distribution of the cocks in the area, a comparative survey of genotypes with counting of the taps at the Balzplatz, as well as a renewed attempt at a stock survey of the Gscheidegg population were required.
