Dataset description

The Geological Map of Styria contains the data planes of case signs, erosion edges, tectonics, rubble, geology 1:500,000, geology 1:200,000 and geology 1:50,000. The digital geological map of Styria is a compiled map. This was made in the 1990s from the then existing analog maps with different scales and legends. The data bases have not been standardised and will not be updated. Since this map only shows an overview of the geological conditions of Styria, no legal claim can be derived from the map.
