The energy generation division of LINZ STROM GAS WÄRME GmbH operates seven power plants that ensure optimum power availability.
The primary energy sources gas, biomass, oil (reserve fuel), residues and sewage sludge are converted into the energy forms of electricity and district heating that are usable for customers.
Due to the increasing integration of energy trading markets, the European Union has adopted the Regulation on Energy Market Integrity and Transparency — REMIT. The aim of REMIT is to strengthen transparency and thus confidence in the energy market throughout Europe.
The current and reduced and downtime performance of our power plants will be on the transparency platform of European Energy Exchange AG (EEX)
posted at www.eex-transparency.com.
