Dataset description

In the years 2004, 2005 and 2007 to 2009 detailed investigations — vegetation analysis, area mapping and visitor monitoring — were carried out in the Elend valleys to cover the stock. to document the blue throat, to identify potential hazards and to develop protection proposals. The Brutreviere are located in the outer zone of the Hohe Tauern Carinthia National Park. The monitoring is carried out at intervals of three years by BirdLife Austria, Carinthia’s regional group, using the proven method of mapping.
