Relationships between national-park affinity and attitudes towards protected area management of visitors to the Gesaeuse National Park, Austria

This study examines the position of visitor areas vis-à-vis visitor and environmental management in the Gesäuse National Park. Interviews were conducted on site with 405 visitors to the National Park during the summer and autumn of 2008. The result of the study supports the management of the National Park in its development of tourism marketing strategies and public relations in relation to visitor areas.
