Source Gseng in the Johnsbachtal

The debris source in Gseng originates from an artificially poured stalk from mixed grain fine to block rubble made of dolomite and lime, in which, among other things, asphalt boulders, granite cubes and various stone material from house quarries, etc. are stored. The original appearance of the source is unknown. It is likely to come from the gaps of a lime bank, as it always originates in the same place despite the relocations in recent years. Presumably, the spring mouth was always covered with debris. At the time of the initial reception at the time of the first take-up in 2004, the source was in the raw state due to the constant dredging and bulking. However, it has been able to regenerate since the end of the dismantling in autumn 2008.
