The conservation status of capercaillie and black grouse in the South-eastern Alps: an Assessment on the Level of Hunting Districts

The porridge and birch chicken are among the potentially endangered species in terms of tourist activities, as they are disruptive and suffer from the increasing popularity of outdoor sports in the alpine area. This study examines whether tourism activities in the summer can be linked to a decline in stock numbers of porridges and birch chickens.
