Dataset description

The dataset is based on the contents of the hydrogeological map of Austria 1:500.000. The dot layer includes wells and wells from a production volume of 0.3 mio m³/a. These are wells/wells for the central water supply, wells/well fields which open up artesically stretched groundwater horizons, as well as points on mineral and thermal water resources, which are of particular importance because of their yield, use or geological position.
