Atmospherically corrected solar radiation in the form of the annual sum and the half-year sums Grid 1 m² resolution. Based on the digital surface model DOM as at the end of 2012 in resolution 1 m² solar radiation was calculated over the annual cycle of the sun and summed up after months. The semi-hourly solar position and the shadow of terrain, buildings and vegetation were simulated nationwide. The still cloud-free simulated irradiation values with their components direct and diffuse radiation were then subjected to atmospheric correction. To take into account the influence of clouds, satellite data from the geostationary Meteosat satellite from 2004 to 2012 were used. These data form a homogeneous time series with a temporal resolution of 15 minutes and a spatial resolution of 0.02° (about 2 km). The grid dataset “Solar radiation 2013 Tirol” is assigned to the INSPIRE data topic Energy sources (Annex III)
