Planned scope of environmental noise mapping 2017 — Austria

Agglomerations with more than 100,000 inhabitants, main roads (highways and expressways and national roads) with more than 3 million cars/year, main railway lines with more than 30000 trains/year and major airports in accordance with Article 7(1) EU Environmental Noise Directive. The tabular presentation is available both in the Central Data Repository of the European Environment Agency (http://cdr.eionet.europa.eu/at/eu/noise/df5/envvzjdww/) as well as in the download service. All airport locations are recorded in the GIS data beyond the major Vienna Schwechat airport, as the national implementation must be mapped according to all airports. The data are available for the entire federal territory.
