Dataset description

According to the 2011 Tyrolean Regional Planning Act, the Land Government is required to adopt spatial planning programmes for an orderly and sustainable spatial development of the Land by means of regulations. It provides for certain areas to be kept free for agriculture, landscape or ecology. In other areas, special areas for leisure and sports facilities are allowed, while in the core zones of central locations special areas for shopping centres can be dedicated. Local spatial planning is assigned to the INSPIRE data topic on land use (Annex III).
