Dataset description

Aufgrund der Wasserrechtsgesetzes 1959 (WRG) § 34 kann die Behörde Gebiete zum Schutz von Versorgungsanlagen ausweisen. Größere Wasserschutzgebiete sowie vom Landeshauptmann verordnete Wasserschongebiete werden seit 1995 flächenhaft erfasst. Achtung: Es gibt unzählige per Bescheid festgelegte kleine Schutzgebiete, die nicht als Polygon erfasst sind. Diese "kleinen" Schutzgebiete sind nur duch den Subtyp "Quelle mit Schutzgebiet" bzw. "Grundwasseranlage mit Schutzgebiet" an der jeweiligen Versorgungsanlage ersichtlich. Die Wasserschutzgebiete sind dem INSPIRE Datenthema Bewirtschaftungsgebiete/Schutzgebiete/geregelte Gebiete und Berichterstattungseinheiten (Annex III) zugeordnet.
