The 13rd Environmental control report examines the development of the environmental situation in Austria from 2019-2022 in 15 chapters. The focus is on climate change, climate change, biodiversity, water and water protection, air quality, soil conservation, multifunctional spaces, sustainable land management, mobility transition, energy transition, sustainable production, resource management and circular economy, management of contaminated sites, chemical management and health-related environmental monitoring. By handing over the environmental control report to the National Council, the Federal Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology fulfils an obligation under the Environmental Control Act. The Environmental Control Report is aimed at decision-makers and stakeholders of national environmental policy. For the sake of resource conservation and digitalisation, we have excluded printed copies. The thirteenth environmental control report is available for download in pdf format. The 13rd Environmental control report of the Environment Minister to the National Council pursuant to Sections 3 and 17(3) of the Federal Law on Environmental Control (BGBl. I No 152/1998) was prepared by Umweltbundesamt GmbH for the reporting period July 2019 to June 2022.
