Air quality stations in Austria. As of January 2019.

As of January 2019, the report “Air Quality Bodies in Austria” provides information on the situation of all air quality centres in Austria, the measured pollutants and meteorological parameters, as well as the measuring instruments used. Measuring points for gaseous air pollutants, fine dust, wet deposition and dust deposition as well as measuring points for meteorological quantities and ultraviolet radiation are described. In addition to measuring stations operated on the basis of the Air Immission Protection Act and the Ozone Act, research measuring stations and measuring points for operational immission protection plans are also mentioned. The air quality networks in the federal states are operated by the offices of the state governments. In addition, the Federal Environment Agency operates the national background measurement network.
