Dataset description

The angular image of the earth lilipsoid into the plane is carried out in the system of the Austrian State Survey MGI (Military Geography Institute) by the Gauss-Krüger projection. The “Bundesmeldenetz” (BMN) is used for the coordinate determination of objects. Information on the reporting system can be found on each card sheet. The ÖK50-BMN is available in two output forms. Each of the 213 card sheets has an expanse of 15‘sqm x 15’s and covers an area of approximately 520 km².
