In the report, the Federal Environment Agency presents the development of air pollutants for which national emission ceilings (NECs) are set for 2010. This is based on the NEC Directive (Directive 2001/81/EC), which has been transposed into national law by means of the Emissions Ceilings Act-Luft (Federal Law Gazette I No 34/2003).
