Dataset description

As part of the project “Veterinary antibiotics in manure and soil” (Sattelberger et al. 2005) the Federal Environment Agency collected data on nitrogen content and the exposure to copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) in farm fertilisers. First of all, a brief overview of the problem is provided and the data on nitrogen, copper and zinc content and cargoes (annual inputs per ha of soil and year) of the sampled pig and poultry holdings will be presented.
