Dataset description

Small structures in the agricultural landscape contribute greatly to the landscape, biodiversity and, in part, the functional cohesion of a region. Their development in quantity, type and quality is largely influenced by agricultural use, some types are direct products of such activity. The aim of the “Austrian Programme for the Promotion of Environmentally Sound, Extensive and Protecting Agriculture (ÖPUL 2000)” is to preserve and promote such networks and elements of the agricultural landscape.
