Dataset description

Expert statement on the environmental impact study for the Paks II nuclear power plant. In the Tolna district, near the town of Paks, about 100 km south of Budapest, there is the only Hungarian nuclear power plant (Pak KKW) on the right bank of the Danube. On the site of the Paks NPP, two additional reactor units are planned to produce 1,200 Mwe each for 60 years. The commercial operation of the new units is planned from 2025 and 2030 respectively.
