Forest and Wildlife Protection Areas, Ordinated Wild Rest Areas Tirol

Forest and wildlife protection zones are areas in mountain areas that have as their goal a voluntary renunciation of entering or driving these areas by winter sports enthusiasts and leisure users. Wild rest areas are areas designated by the authority in accordance with §45 of the Tyrolean Hunting Act by Ordinance on the protection of game in the vicinity of wild feeding. These areas may not be entered or used in winter outside the roads and paths for general use, including local hiking trails and outside local ski routes, designated ski runs and cross-country ski trails.
