Future mobility — e-mobility

The report describes the course and content of the Citizens’ Conference “Future Mobility — E-Mobility”. The aim was to raise awareness of a complex socio-political issue, to stimulate exchanges and to put the dialogue on a broad basis. In the course of a Citizens’ Conference in August 2010, 32 citizens from all over Austria developed 15 recommendations to business, politics and administration on how to deal with mobility in a three-day joint learning, discussion and coordination process. This communiqué was subsequently presented to different stakeholders and thus returned to a general discussion. The Citizens’ Conference was organised on the initiative of Verbund. The Risiko:dialog of the Federal Environment Agency and Radio Ö1 supported the design and implementation.
