Dataset description

The Biodiversity Strategy Austria 2020+ of the Federal Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism was published in 2014. This report gives an overview of the more than 500 projects recorded in the Biodiversity Database of the Federal Environment Agency. Parameters were used to evaluate the state of implementation of the Biodiversity Strategy. In summary, many measures are being implemented that have a positive impact on biodiversity. At the same time, further action is needed using the parameters. A description of selected projects and recommendations for intensification of activities by 2020 and beyond round off the report.
