Main resident population with information on age, state, gender and marital status.
Comments:
Main resident population due to the Registration Act
Since 2011 with a registered partnership.
Individuals with unknown marital status were also counted as “only” marital status.
The marital status “divorce” was also counted “marriage dissolved or annulled”.
Marital status “resolved registered partnership” has also been counted as “partnership annulled”
The city of Linz was divided into 36 statistical districts until the end of 2013. Since 1.1.2014, the new structure has been in force in 16 statistical districts. Up to and including 2020, the information provided has been offered for download in both variants, starting in 2021 only according to the new outline.
