Dataset description

With the property tax patent dated 23. On December 1, 1817, Emperor Franz I set taxation on a completely new basis. Upper Austria was completely measured over a period of 6 years (1824-1830). In Upper Austria, more than 8,400 individual sheets of the original folder were produced on a scale of 1: 2880 (or successor measures). In a cooperation between the Upper Austria State Archive and the DORIS System Group, the more than 8,400 folder sheets were digitally recorded and georeferenced accordingly. From these individual sheets, “the digital original folder OÖ” was calculated.
