Dataset description

Prolonged heat is a heavy burden on humans and animals, especially if the night cooling is not present. In a regional climate analysis, the OÖ, in cooperation with the ZAMG (Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics), examined which areas in the Upper Austria Central Area are particularly affected by overheating and where fresh air and cold air development areas are located. Based on these observations, planning instructions have been prepared on how the existing fresh and cold air development areas can be maintained and overheating can be reduced or avoided.
