Regional Spatial Planning Programmes — Regional Green Zones Lower Austria

Regional green areas are grassland areas that have a special spatial and segregation function or are of regional importance as a local recreation area or serve to connect valuable grassland areas and biotopes. These shall be deemed to be fixed at 50 m on both sides of the water axis, provided that no greater width results from the presentation in the map installations of the respective regROPs. In the regional green areas only grassland types may be devoted which do not jeopardise the spatial and segregating effect, the local recreation function or the function of networking valuable grassland areas. The determination of the dedication of traffic area is only permitted if the spatial and segregating function is not jeopardised. The determination of the dedication of building land is in any event inadmissible. For further details, reference is made to the respective regulation.
