Dataset description
Regional statistical grid units are laid across the entire federal territory. The grids are independent of administrative boundaries and therefore allow for a more relevant territorial demarcation. The data are available in the projection ETRS-LAEA (EPSG:3035) as an ESRI shapefile or geopackage (the geopackage is recommended for the grid size 100 m). In the STATatlas at https://www.statistik.at/atlas/?mapid=topo_regionale_gliederung_oesterreich_raster
