Dataset description
The settlement units (SE) are one of the smallest (worldwide) comparable geographical units introduced by the United Nations Statistical Commission. These settlement units are a contiguously built-in area of residential, industrial, commercial, other economic and cultural facilities. The data are available in the projection MGI Lambert (EPSG:31287). The settlement units were compiled with data from the register count (data at 31.10.2011).
