Tenth Environmental Control Report

By handing over the 2013 Environmental Control Report to the National Council, the Federal Environment Agency fulfils an obligation under the Environmental Control Act. The standard work on the environmental situation in Austria has been published for the tenth time since 1988. For the environmental control report, data and information on the state and pressures of the environment are summarised and evaluated. The analysis focuses on developments over the last three years. The results will be evaluated together with measures already implemented, from which action options are derived for the improvement of the environmental situation in Austria. This provides an up-to-date and informed basis for decision-making. The 2013 Environmental Control Report is addressed to decision-makers and stakeholders of national environmental policy.
