By handing over the Environmental Control Report prepared by the Federal Environment Agency to the National Council, the Federal Minister for Sustainability and Tourism fulfils an obligation under the Environmental Control Act. In 1988, the first edition was published, this year — 2019 — the twelfth Environmental Control Report, which summarises relevant information on the environmental situation in Austria.
