UVE Guide An information on the environmental impact statement Revised version 2008

With the updated guide, the Federal Environment Agency supports project applicants, planners and experts in the preparation and processing of environmental impact declarations (UVE). It provides an overview of the Environmental Impact Assessment Act (EIA-G 2000) and provides practical assistance for selecting and concretising the contents of an EIA. For better comprehension, the instructions are supplemented with examples from practice. In addition to amended legal provisions, the revision also incorporates the practical experience of the experts from the competent authorities and the Federal Environment Agency. The environmental impact statement is an integral part of the procedure laid down in the Federal Act on the Assessment of Environmental Impact Assessment of UVP-G 2000 (BGBl. No 697/1993 as amended by BGBl. I No 2/2008).
