Dataset description
Apos is BEV’s GNSS satellite positioning service, the GNSS signals (currently: GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO) uses, centrally processed and provides derived parameters to improve the accuracy of satellite-based measurements. Each APOS reference station is coordinated cm-specific and equipped with high-quality geodetic GNSS equipment. For postprocessing applications, 37 Austrian APOS reference stations currently provide station raw data in RINEX format (APOS-PP).
The APOS reference stations realise the top level of the European Terrestrial Reference System (ETRS89) in Austria and comply with the EUREF Class A specification (coordinate repeatability better than ± 1 cm).
