Dataset description

The IWEPS carries out population and household prospects at the municipal level, the first edition of which was carried out in 2012. In 2019, a new methodology was established. The outlook this time has a horizon of + 15 years, [\2](\1). It is a scientific approach that takes into account not only the local specificities of fertility, mortality and migration, but also changes according to the type of household. These municipal population perspectives have been calibrated to those of the Federal Planning Office at the district level.
