Agriculture/nature by ha — Flanders — situation 2013

This map of the interweaving between nature and agriculture was drawn up on the basis of a selection of all valuable and very valuable nature from the organic valuation map combined with the map of agricultural use parcels. The analysis was carried out at a 10 m resolution. For example, small plots of nature and agriculture were detected in an urbanised context. Each hectare cell containing at least 100 m² of nature or agriculture was included in the analysis. This map indicates per hectare cell whether it is a monofunctional agricultural cell, a monofunctional nature cell, a cell with weave between agriculture and nature with a dominance of agriculture, or a cell with weave between agriculture and nature with a dominance of nature. Other functions such as housing, industry or recreation may also occur in the cell, but these functions (and their surfaces) are disregarded in this analysis.
