Dataset description

IQECAD is an initiative that promotes the improvement of the quality of care in pediatric diabetes center. Understanding what are the determinants of patient metabolic control (HbA1c) is crucial to achieve good management of the diabetes and improvement of the quality of care. It has been shown that psychosocial distress has significant influence on patients’ metabolic control, especially among youth <19 years old. Measuring psychosocial distress among youth with diabetes will greatly complete our vision on how HbA1c is influenced.
