the total Flemish fleet continues to grow in size, but this increase has been slower in recent years the vast majority of the new and total fleet consists of diesel and mainly petrol cars the share of diesel cars in the new fleet stabilises after years of decline; in the total fleet, their share is still decreasing. the share of zero emission cars (on electricity and hydrogen) is increasing, but is still limited (4 % in 2020) achieving the targets by 2025 is still uncertain improving the environmental performance of the total Flemish fleet: in 2020, the average ecoscore was 63.2
