“Regional plan, vector — ground planes” is a dataset in digital vector format of the base planes of the regional plans. Ground surface regulations will in practice always be linked to a flat-shaped plan element that in turn gets a full-fledged legend symbol, i.e. an opaque symbolism. On top of the base surfaces of the plan, other types of plan elements can be laid. These are classified according to geometry: in the case of the regional plan, these are surfaces and lines. No rights can be derived from the maps based on this dataset. The information in the maps is purely informative and not legally binding. In order to determine the legal planning context of a given plot or area, please contact the urban planning department of the relevant municipal authority. The digital regional plans were created on the basis of the original regional plan(s) that were drawn up on map scale 1/10.000. As a result, this digital version is only suitable for medium-scale use, with a maximum usage scale of 1/10,000. The combined consultation of this file with large-scale parcel maps is not accurate in cartographic terms and does not provide any conclusive information on the legal planning context of a plot. This digital file has been compiled with the utmost care, based on the original, legally valid regional plans. However, it is not excluded that certain information may be outdated, incomplete or incorrect. The information shown cannot therefore be regarded as a ‘certified copy’ of the original regional plan (changes). This dataset was drawn up by vectorisation of the maps of the 25 regional plans established between 1976 and 1980. These maps are made on a map scale 1:10,000. All adjustments resulting from the later approved regional plan changes have been integrated into the dataset. In the event of judgments of the Council of State which led to the destruction of certain parts of the regional plans, then, in almost all cases, the regional plan was restored to the condition prior to the destruction. You can find an overview of all the operations carried out under the heading Quality, Edits, Process taps in the metadata of the dataset series ‘regional plan, vector’ to which this dataset belongs.
