Dataset description

Gross tonnage expressed in ton-km having circulated on the Infrabel network, by quarter and sector. A tonne-km is a unit of measurement for the transport of goods corresponding to the transport of one tonne (1000 kg) of goods by rail over a distance of one kilometre. The quantity of transport expressed in tonne-kilometres is calculated by multiplying the mass transported, expressed in tonnes (t), by the distance travelled, expressed in kilometres (km).
