The Flemish Codex is an unofficial consolidation of Flemish legislation.
The Flemish Codex contains the documents of all Flemish regulators.
These are:
*Flemish Parliament*
*Flemish Government*
*Flemish Ministers*
*leading officials of the Flemish Government*
The documents are only included in the Flemish Codex if they are published in extenso in the Belgian Official Gazette. The database is updated on a daily basis: texts are available the day after publication in the Belgian Official Journal.
All documents are currently available after 1 January 1959; the database is also systematically extended to include older legal texts.
The Flemish Codex contains consolidated texts of Flemish legislation, i.e. texts incorporating all changes.
The Flemish Codex works together with
*the databases of the Flemish Parliament: via the Flemish Codex you can click on to the parliamentary preparatory file for a decree \(and vice versa\)\.*
*the Crossroads Bank of the Law \(Belgielex\)\. The crossroads bank of the legislation is a partnership between a number of federal and community and regional institutions\. Via the Flemish Codex you can click on the information in the databases of the participating institutions\.*
The Flemish Codex also contains hyperlinks to the judgments of the Constitutional Court in relation to Flemish legislation.
