Dataset description
Vector file with the classification of Flanders into hydrographic zones. The smallest subdivision (vha zones) are captation zones of a VHA watercourse or part of a VHA watercourse. These areas are aggregated to the level of sub-basins and basins, as referred to in the Decree on integrated water policy. The location of the boundaries of the VHA zones is based, among other things, on drainage via surface water, relief and similar areas of the zones. This file is part of the Flemish Hydrographic Atlas.
