Dataset description

With the cross-border Interreg project “GEOHEAT-APP” VITO, Grontmij and TNO sought to explore the concrete feasibility of (deep) geothermal systems in the border region of Vlaanderen-Nederland. Deep geothermal is expressed when the heat is extracted from layers deeper than 500 m. These maps are grid charts which present the transmissibility of the following 4 potential reservoirs in cells of 250 m at 250 m: Chalk, Trias, Westfaliaan D and Dinantiane.
