an excess occurs when the deposition is higher than the critical load
since 2000, there has been a declining trend for acidification and to a lesser extent for fertilisation
the 2030 target has already been met for acidification but still far for fertilisation
in all Flemish forests and moors there is fertiliser due to too high nitrogen deposition
